Application
In utility substations, for protection and main disconnection of factories and industrial facilities, pumping stations, railway systems, and electric power generation plants.
Technical and specific characteristics
– Fully shielded cubicle made of galvanized steel sheet from the factory.
– Roof with a slope to allow rainwater to drain.
– Metal partitions forming independent compartments.
– Front and rear doors equipped with internal hinges and latches.
– Protective grilles made with protective mesh in the interior access openings.
– Pressure relief valves to protect against internal arcs.
– Electrolytic copper busbars sized according to ABNT standards.
– Epoxy insulators, guaranteeing total resistance to stress.
Internal grounding system.
– Devices for seals, arranged according to the standards of the concessionaires.
– The medium voltage substation is equipped with a metal cover for protection against accidental contact with live parts inside and against water ingress, in accordance with ABNT NBR IEC 60529.
– Covers, doors, and other metal parts receive anti-corrosion treatment and paint suitable for the conditions in which they will be installed.

The cabin must initially be powered on without any load, i.e., without any transformer connected to the output, to verify that it is in compliance for operation.
Before carrying out any work, make sure the cabin structure has been grounded.
