The past that built Romagnole’s future now has a new chapter, this time, in book form.
The book “The Story of the Romagnole Brothers – From a Bicycle and a Toolbox to One of Brazil’s Leading Electrical Companies” retraces the inspiring journey of Vicente Romagnole and Alvaro José Romagnolli, founders of the company and key figures in a path marked by vision, hard work, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The title was officially presented to the company’s directors and shareholders in a special moment of celebration, filled with emotion and recognition for those who helped build what is now the Romagnole Group.
A Legacy Beyond Industry
The book spans the Romagnole family’s history — from their roots in Italy and immigration to Brazil in the late 19th century, to the company’s beginnings in Mandaguari, Paraná, in the 1940s. With 576 pages, the book is more than a corporate history: it shares life stories, turning points, and enduring values.
Written by journalists André De Canini and Donizete Oliveira, the biography took over two and a half years to complete, with contributions from over 100 people including interviewees, collaborators, researchers, designers, and editors. The result is a sensitive, accessible, and richly detailed work that connects the company’s evolution to the social and economic context of Mandaguari, Paraná, Brazil, and the world.
“Summarizing the lives of Vicente and Alvaro only by their material achievements would be both unnecessary and unfair,” notes De Canini. “This is a story of humanity, generosity, and commitment to others — a legacy that continues to inspire thousands.”
A Record to Inspire Tomorrow
More than a biography of two successful entrepreneurs, this book is a testament to the values, attitudes, and choices that shaped a generation and continue to bear fruit today.
Today, the Romagnole Group employs over 4,000 people, exports to more than 35 countries, and generates annual revenue of around R$3 billion. But the true value of this story lies in the principles that remain alive: hard work, ethics, innovation, and a commitment to the development of both the electrical sector and the communities where Romagnole operates.
Please note: The biography will not be sold commercially. Soon, the company will announce the formats and channels through which the book will be available for reading and consultation.
